| Magdalena Hutter lebt in Köln und arbeitet als Dokumentarfilmerin, Kamerafrau und Fotografin. Sie hat Dokumentarfilm und Kamera an der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München studiert und ist Alumna des Berlinale Talent Campus. In ihren Projekten beschäftigt sie sich oft mit Geschichten von Migration und Zugehörigkeit und setzt diese als Dokumentarfilme, Installationen oder interaktive dokumentarische Projekte um. Neben der Arbeit an ihren eigenen Projekten beteiligt sie sich als Kamerafrau und Consulting Producer an anderen Dokumentarfilmen und war mit ihrer Arbeit bereits mehrfach auf internationalen Festivals vertreten. Sie hat längere Zeit in den USA, Paraguay und Brasilien verbracht und spricht neben ihrer Muttersprache Deutsch auch Englisch (fließend), brasilianisches Portugiesisch (fließend) sowie Spanisch (sehr gut) und verfügt über Grundkenntnisse in Französisch und Italienisch. | Magdalena Hutter is a documentary filmmaker, director of photography, and photographer based in Cologne/Germany. She studied in the documentary and cinematography classes at the University of Television and Film Munich and is an alum of the Berlinale Talent Campus. Her projects frequently deal with themes of migration and belonging, ranging from documentary film to installations and interactive documentaries. In addition to her own projects she also works as a director of photography and consulting producer on other documentary films, and has had her work recognized at international festivals. Magdalena has spent time in the USA, Canada, Paraguay, and in Brazil.
